Bleach me & preach me

Get down on your fashion knees, and preach me baby. This little creation is mine. Despite only bleaching the t-shirt 20 minutes previous i decided to wear it out for drinks. Bleach + perfume made a slight intoxicating smell throughout the evening, the guilty look on my face probably made it obvious. On another note i am legend is making me cry, infact bubble, im a sucker for emotions. Sucky suck!
Any of you want a tutorial on this? or not, let me know. I dont bite :)

I went there

Ok, so i totally went there, i think i chose everything from my wardrobe that looked like road kill and threw it on, i feel like a power ranger, a very stylish, comfortable power ranger, minus the awsome fighting skills. I have never felt so tired and i have never felt like overdosing on caffeine so much, the kettles just too far away, god damn it. Im gonna sleep for the rest of the week, maybe drink some suppy suppy tomorrow then sleep some more. God save me from this sleep dep.

Look no more

Yes, with 3 days experience and only 2 followers (greatly appreciated) i decided to test my luck and jump on the blogging bandwagon and enter the look competition to sit FRONT ROW. As you can tell from the matted hair, eye bags and lovely chipped nails, i was eager to apply and took a great snapshot of me and the competition requirements. So here it is.
Im Demi, a 20 year old fashion student, living at home for the summer and i owe and apology to my english teacher. Who knew A-Level english would come in handy? but when it comes to writing about anything fashion related, clothes, what i wore, current trends, i guess it kinda comes out, somewhat like a faucet y'know. An ever running faucet and the taps broke to turn it off, so things come spilling out. I guess i've always been 'trendy' as you would say but looking back now it was for all the wrong reasons. I  followed trends instead of set them and wasn't aware how fulfilling stepping out of the 'norm' could be, but a blog lets you be yourself, it lets you show the world the real you, and if people like it great but if they don't there is 100 more who will be happy to pick you up again. Its a great environment to be involved in and with little experience i think blogging for Look magazine will offer me a great depth of knowledge and something else to photograph other than myself, theres only so many self portraits a girl can take!

This skirt is originally a fish tail maxi believe it or not, its amazing what a hair bobble can do! I kinda went for a colour clash today, the whole burgundy on turquoise. I matched it up with my h&m jumper which was 7.99 and my american apparel oversized clutch bag, which im in love with, you can find it HERE. Totally recommend. My day is revolving around come dine with me and holiday showdown..cheesy.

Cut me up

 

I wore my newly made cut off shorts today. Almost about to send them to the charity shop then i made myself a pair of denim shorts. Just added a little 'how i did it', just incase anyone was wondering (which im sure you already new). I had a lot of layering going off today too, checked shirt and my stripey top over the shorts. There maybe a cheeky trip to the pub later so another outfit post maybe in order, well see.

Brush it out.

So this morning the postman brought me happiness. After ordering this brush ive been eagerly awaiting it arrival. I guess im hoping this little brush will somehow make my face look better, i guess :/. Ill let you know how it goes :).

Favourite Denim

Theres a few reasons why i love these shorts.

• They were £3
• There a perfect fit
• They go with anything.

Just a few snips and some old lady trousers transformed into my favourites. Im also wearing a mesh kinda body thing, another sale item from topshop, my jeffrey campbell litas and a white blazer from h'n'm, which when i wear my boyfriend frequently tells me i look like a milkman. (hes full of compliments). 

Im forever trying to use my camera to give photos a vintage affect, i have a canon 500d, if anyone has any tips, pleeaase let me know :).
